About Brea, CA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

About Brea - Happy to serve you!Brea, which started out as a center for the production of crude oil, is a city located in Orange County, California. After the crude oil boom, the city′s economy was based around citrus. Today, due to the building of the Brea Mall and recent redevelopment of its downtown neighborhood, the city′s economy is strongly based in the retail industry. In 2006, the city was named the ″5th Best City in the Western United States to Live″ and is well known for its public art program which began in 1975 and still continues today. There are over 140 pieces of artwork on display throughout the city. Many of the city′s public schools, including Olinda Elementary School and the Brea Olinda High School, have been named on California′s list of distinguished schools.

Brea is not a huge city but it does have its share of attractions and recreational activities including the Olinda Museum and Trail which features the #1 Olinda Oil Well, a record vault and a once used office. There are also 15 public parks, the Brea Community Center, and the Brea Fitness Center in the city. Among the city′s largest employers are The Mercury Insurance Group, Beckman Coulter, and the Bank of America. The year round average temperature for the city is about 62 degrees and they receive around 16″ inches of rain a year. Several famous people, including Broadway actress Stephanie J. Block, pro football player Evan Moore and Metallica band member James Hetfield, have called Brea home.
